Exolar Energy Pvt. Ltd., one of the fastest growing energy startups in Delhi NCR, declares the installation of an 80 kW rooftop on-grid solar power plant at the sacred Uttara Guruvayurappan Temple in Delhi.
The milestone in green spiritual infrastructure, the project was inaugurated this week by temple officials and community leaders.
The facility consists of 136 high-efficiency Vikram Solar TOPCON bifacial panels, backed by Luminous Grid-Tied Inverters, and will generate around 8,400 units a month and 100,800 units a year. This translates into INR 8.06 lakhs in annual savings and 78,400 kg of CO₂ reduction—amounting to growing more than 3,700 trees annually.
With this initiative, Uttara Guruvayurappan Temple is part of a growing league of iconic religious institutions—such as Akshardham Temple (Delhi), Shirdi Sai Baba Temple (Maharashtra), Golden Temple (Amritsar), and Moinuddin Chishti Dargah (Ajmer)—that are adopting clean energy as part of their sustainability commitment.
